Bologna is famous all over the world for its cuisine. In the city there is a great number of restaurants, trattorias and taverns that serve local specialties; but in the hills, too, you can enjoy our traditional dishes and try, if you have never tasted them before, our typical tigelle and crescentine, that we stuff with cold cuts and cheese.
Here are some of our favourite places:
Osteria Il Cannone, via Andrea Costa 102d, Bologna
Just 10 minutes by car or motorbike from Antico Podere San Luca, at Osteria Il Cannone you can choose between two unique culinary experiences: the authentic flavors of Bolognese tradition with the “Menu Tradizione” or a creative culinary journey with the “Menu Innovazione”.
Charcuterie boards, tagliatelle, tortelloni, risottos, and the famous “cotoletta alla bolognese” are just some of the dishes you can enjoy here. One more reason to try it? Osteria Il Cannone has a special agreement with Antico Podere San Luca—an extra perk for guests staying with us in our B&B or short-term leases.
Da Vito a San Luca, via di Monte Albano 5, Bologna
Excellent pizza and Emilian cuisine, quite close to the Santuario della Beata Vergine di San Luca. It is only 900 m. from the Antico Podere San Luca (3 minutes by car or motorbike, or 15 on foot)
