The building that houses the Antico Podere San Luca dates back to the 16th century. This is where the bailiffs who worked for centuries in the neighbouring estates used to live. To this day, in addition to the main building, which is perfectly preserved, there are an old well and a cowshed: the latter was restored to obtain the B&B and the flats that are rented out for short periods.

The Antico Podere San Luca is situated on the hills of Bologna, not far from the Santuario della Beata Vergine di San Luca, in Via di Monte Albano 16: here is where we are. So our position is perfect for easily reaching the old city centre – it is just a few minutes’ drive away – and also the industrial areas, the Fiera District, the hospitals and the university. Nonetheless the Antico Podere San Luca is situated in a quiet, peaceful place. From its windows, your gaze can sweep the woods of the hills close to Bologna.

The lodgings of the Antico Podere San Luca

 

The lodgings have been obtained through the restoration of the bailiff’s old cowshed. They are equipped with all modern facilities; but the typical structures of an 18th century agricultural building are still perfectly visible, and have come back to life thanks to the restoration.

The lodgings can comfortably accommodate 2 to 4 people, and have a sleeping area with a double bed, a living room with a double sofa bed, a TV set, a fully-equipped kitchenette, and a private bathroom with shower stall. The parking spaces are free of charge and situated in a protected area of the park, out of doors but quite close to the flats.
